Registration Information:
- 2006 Fees: $400.00 per player. This fee covers CYSA registration, insurance with CYSA-South, referee fees for the league season (does not include league cup or state/national cup referee fees), field fees, light fees, 2 pairs of practice socks, a practice t-shirt and black game shorts. Give checks payable to APEX Soccer Club to your team representitive. Once the fees are paid they are non-refundable and become Club money.
- New players: Fill out a player registration form online and print out two copies. I need to see the original birth certificate, and 2 copies of their birth certificate and 2 pictures. I will stamp, register the players, and assign them to the team. After cards are printed, I will return the original medical release, original birth certificate, one copy of the birth certificate, new printed card and picture to the team.
- Current Players: Fill out a player registration form online and print out two copies. I will need 1 copy of their birth certificate and 2 pictures. I will stamp, register the players, and assign them to your team. After cards are printed, I will return the original medical release, new printed card and picture to you (make sure you keep a copy of their birth certificate).
- Please register a minimum of 11 players the first time you are registering. With the packet of player registrations, I need a check for $400.00 per player made out to Apex Soccer. Additional players may be registered at anytime after and will need to include the registration fee also.
- Risk Management: CYSA south has switched to Live Scan fingerprinting for new coaches/trainers/ managers etc., and those whose risk management is due to expire in the 2006-2007 season. If your card will expire this season you must get the Live Scan done before I can register you as a coach/trainer, etc. Do not wait, get it done ASAP. It takes time to get the info to CYSA and it takes them a while to clear you in the computer. I can not print a card for you until you are cleared in the system. Please see the enclosed information as to where you can go to have it done. A form to bring with you to the fingerprint process is also included.
- Coaches/Trainers and Managers: If your risk management is up to date, all you need to do is fill out the CYSA administrator form and have 2 pictures. With your registration packet, include 2 copies of the original form and attach 1 picture to 1 of the copies. After cards are printed, I will return the original to you with 1 picture and the newly printed card. If the coach/trainer is new, please attach a copy of the coach’s license (please make sure the coach/trainer has been approved by Bob Brazell and Dan Kuntz). If anyone has upgraded their license, please also attach a copy of the upgraded license.
- Older Teams - 22 player roster: After contacting CYSA on June 9th, they are reasonably sure that older teams will be allowed to carry 22 players on their roster. Only 18 players will be able to dress and play for each game. The official vote is expected to take place at the July board meeting (should be the first or second week in July). Just keep in mind this may be a new rule change coming for this next season.
