John played collegiate soccer at CSUN from 1975 – 1980. He has been involved in youth coaching since 1997 starting with the West Valley Soccer League. John has been involved with AYSO Thousand Oaks Region 9 since 2000, coaching various teams and is still currently involved today. In 2002 he began coaching the girls' Apex Renegades team and continues at the helm today.
