Matt played club for the Simi Valley Eclipse Las Chivas team who were national cup finalists, state cup runner ups and Nomad tournament winners. Matt played at Thousand Oaks high school where he made varsity his freshman year and earned a spot on the Second Team All Marmonte League team in the 1999/2000 season. He was a Varsity starter and made First Team All Marmonte for the remainder of his high School Career (2001 – 2003).
After high school Matt went on to play at Moorpark college where they were NJCAA – I Western States Conference Champions and were ranked as high as 4th in the nation by the NSCAA national soccer poll.
Matt Joined Apex Soccer Club in 2004 to assist in training the BU11 Apex ’93 team. He currently trains both the Apex ’93 and Apex ’94 teams.
