Rob Looyen has been involved with youth soccer since the late 70’s coaching teams, refereeing and training players. He has coached at the recreational, competitive, high school, Olympic Development and Men’s League levels. Rob started playing soccer in the Netherlands at the age of six and continued to play into his collegiate years. He has been the Head Coach for all levels at Simi High School including 3 seasons as the varsity coach from 1995 – 1998 compiling a 55-17-11 record and making it to the CIF playoffs every season. Rob has been coaching at the club level for many years at both the boys and girls age group with various clubs in the area. Rob joined Apex SC in 1997 to be the head coach of the Girls 93 team.
