Joey was chosen for the United States National and Olympic Team when he was 19 years old and he began his Professional Career two years later.
Joey’s Professional Career spanned Twelve years and included playing Austria, Guatemala, Costa Rico, Korea, Canada, Mexico and included playing with or against the likes of Preki, Jorge Campos, Wynalda and played with "Cacho" Cordova from Argentina - Maradona's Captain - This Career had Joey playing for Five National Team Coaches - Including playing in the First World Cup of Indoor (rapido) in Mexico in 97'

Youth : Joey has been coaching the Youth player for over 20 years and takrn teams to National Cup Finals, Dallas Cup, Hawaii and League Championships

Joey’s Coaching Experience has helped lead Players to Europe and Mexico to pursue their playing career. Coach Kirk was the Youth Coaching Director with Samba and has seen many of his Players go on and perform at Top Colleges as well as ODP and National Teams.

Joey is presently an ODP Staff Coach in Nevada and Runs "Accelerate Player Development" (APD) Academy. Joey recently finished his Second year of the Frans Hoek Coaching Course and was awarded high honors in the Course.

Joey and his family currently reside in the San Fernando Valley
