Michael Head began coaching and refereeing soccer in 1999 for AYSO region 363 in Moorpark. During that time, he has coached various age levels, including All-Star and Tournament teams. Michael has held several positions within AYSO, including division director, assistant regional commissioner and tournament director. Michael joined Apex SC as the assistant coach for the G95 team in 2006. With his direction and the other coaches the team tied for the top spot in the bronze bracket which moved them to the Silver bracket for the 2007 season.
